Where Every Story Begins
I grew up in a small town in southern New Hampshire, surrounded by woods and lakes that gave me plenty of opportunity to explore and immerse myself in nature. I've always loved everything about it—the wildlife, the plants, the trees, the wind, and even the incredible sounds that come from the woods. To me, it's all a little magical.
When I create art, I often find myself going back to those places and trying to recapture something about them—the feeling, the light, the movement, or a moment that stayed with me. I create because those memories and experiences bring me happiness. My hope is that when you look at my work, it brings you a little of that same feeling.
Today I devote my time to fine art, combining sculpture and painting to celebrate the beauty, movement, and quiet stories found in nature. Working from my studio in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts, I hope my artwork encourages people to slow down, look a little closer, and leave with a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

My Approach
I've been drawing and painting since I was young. I studied Fine Art at the Rhode Island School of Design and later worked as a designer and illustrator for a sign company. Eventually, I opened my own sign shop, where I specialized in creative, hand-carved signs and spent many years developing my skills as a woodcarver.
In recent years, I've returned to what I love most—carving wood and painting scenes inspired by nature. Whether I'm working on a detailed wildlife carving or an oil painting of a familiar landscape, the goal is the same: to capture something that made me stop, look, and appreciate the world around me.
